Chen Eyebrow Level Staff

Very interesting article in the Summer 2018 copy of Kung Fu Tai Chi Magazine. It is about Chen Ziqiang the son of Chen Xiaoxing and nephew of Grand Master Chen Xiaowang. Chen Ziqiang has taken it upon himself to try to rediscover some of the lost weapons forms of Chen Taijiquan. I was always told that Chen Taiji had forms for all the 18 traditional Chinese weapons. However, only about six are generally taught, namely - sword (jian), broadsword (dao), double sword, double broadsword, spear, and Spring and Autumn Halberd (chunji da dao). Using historical records, Chen Ziqiang is trying to recreate these lost forms. Of course, this effort is not without controversy. I have reproduce the article here and you can make up your own mind.
